WEATHER STORY: Alberta Clippers are born on the backside of the Rockies in Alberta, Canada. They don’t have much moisture because the mountains wrung most of that out as the winds crossed over. So, clippers (named after the fast clipper ships of the 19th century) moved fast and produce light snow. We will have two of them back to back here starting on Monday. Though they bring light snow, persistence here may produce moderate snow totals by Wednesday. Normals: lows 8-13, highs 23-28.
