Shoal Creek Road on Signal Mountain will be closed until Monday after a crash caused two trees to become "compromised," the Signal Mountain Police Department says.
The crash occurred Friday night and involved two teenagers. Sergeant David Holloway and Chief Mike Williams say no one was injured nor cited, but speed was a factor.
The department says the damaged trees pose "safety concerns" that could endanger drivers.
Public Works crews will assess the trees at the start of next week.
