Jon Gruden saw it coming.

The ex-NFL coach warned Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart about his “reckless” style of play ahead of the NFL Draft, comparing him to daredevil Evil Knievel and telling him he needed to change his ways once he got to the NFL.

“I want you to change your playing style,” Gruden told Dart in a video posted to social media by Dov Kleiman.

“I think it’s reckless. I think it’s careless, and I think it’s dangerous.”

Gruden added: “You’re the only guy that can’t play with a sore right shoulder, and we can’t play without you. You’ve come out of some games now. You had your ass knocked off, and you sucked it up and went back in the game. But talk to me about some of these hits. Why won’t you go out out of bounds, why won’t you go down? It’s crazy, man.
