Police Scotland have disputed Nigel Farage ’s claim that three serious sexual assaults involving immigrants had taken place in Falkirk in the last week.
The Reform UK leader used the alleged incidents during a speech to supporters to argue that young male migrants are arriving in Scotland with “completely different” attitudes towards women.
Mr Farage, who dodged press at the event, told supporters: “Here in Falkirk, there have been three serious sexual assaults in the space of the last week.
"I am sorry, but if you as a country allow young men who come from countries in which women are not even classed as second class citizens, and you put them up in four star hotels, allow them to work illegally.
