FOXBOROUGH – The streak is over.
Coming into Saturday’s Division VIII state championship between No. 4 Randolph football and No. 3 West Boylston, the Lions attempted to raise their fourth consecutive state crown and second straight against the Blue Devils .
Randolph said otherwise, though, as Alin Norisca (two) and Mekhi White (one) recorded three combined rushing touchdowns. The defense also forced four of the game’s five turnovers to ensure the Blue Devils defeated West Boylston, 21-0, at Gillette Stadium.
