Nebraska football clinched bowl eligibility for the 55th time after defeating Northwestern in Memorial Stadium just before Halloween.

The Huskers finished their regular season 7-5 overall and 4-5 in Big Ten.

According to On3 and multiple other outlets, NU will play Utah at the Las Vegas Bowl

The game is scheduled for Dec. 31 and will be played at Allegiant Stadium with kickoff at 2:30 p.m.

The Huskers are 4-0 all-time against the Utes, including a 49-22 win in 1992. The four previous matchups were all in Lincoln.
