It has been widely debated the last several weeks whether the SEC should have four or five teams in the College Football Playoff.
Commissioner Greg Sankey took it a step further on Saturday during an appearance on “Marty & McGee” on the SEC Network prior to the SEC championship game between Alabama and Georgia. He said that not only should Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Oklahoma all make the 12-team CFP field, but Vanderbilt and Texas should to.
