INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana basketball couldn't overcome a slow start against Louisville on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The No. 19 Hoosiers (8-1, 0-1 Big Ten) dropped a second straight game with an 87-78 loss to the No. 6 Cardinals (8-1; 0-0 ACC) after spotting them 16 points at the start of the game.

Indiana got within seven points thanks a flurry of offense in the final minutes — Nick Dorn hit three triples in the final 2:15 — but there just wasn't enough time left on the clock to come back from a deficit that ballooned to 19 points in the second half.
