DALLAS — Tristan Jarry bounded into the makeshift dressing room, zipped his helmet into its own travel bag and exhaled as he sat on a wooden bench inside StarCenter-Farmers Branch, where the Penguins practiced on Saturday afternoon.
The Penguins’ goalie looked relaxed and genuinely happy. That hasn’t always been the cause during a tumultuous past couple of seasons. Jarry’s 2025-26 season has turned into quite the story, one where he has served as the Penguins’ backbone recently and attracted trade interest from at least one Stanley Cup contender.
