REINILDO MANDAVA should be available to face Newcastle United in the Wear-Tyne derby next weekend – but Regis Le Bris does not expect Habib Diarra to be able to feature in the regional showdown at the Stadium of Light.
Reinildo missed yesterday’s 3-0 defeat at Manchester City after picking up a groin injury ahead of the game, with Trai Hume switching flanks to line up at left wing-back in his absence.
However, the Mozambique international has not suffered a serious setback, and Le Bris is confident there is sufficient time for him to recover and play against Newcastle before heading off to Morocco for the Africa Cup of Nations.
