Armed officers descended onto a car park at Heathrow Airport on Sunday morning, where a man was arrested after a number of people were allegedly attacked with “a form of pepper spray”. The Metropolitan Police said armed officers were called to the car park at Terminal 3 at around 8.11am to reports of multiple people being allegedly assaulted. The force said a number of people were allegedly sprayed with the substance by a group of men who then left the scene.

London Ambulance Service attended and the victims were taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
