On Sunday at 12:10 p.m. a wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from Monday 1 p.m. until Tuesday 7 a.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon and North Central Oregon.

The weather service says, "Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 60 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
