Today finally gave us a break from the gloomy stretch we’ve been stuck in. Afternoon temperatures climbed into the upper 40s and low 50s, and we even enjoyed some sunshine, something we haven’t seen much of lately. But as we head into tonight and early Monday, the quiet weather will take a brief turn.

A cold front will slide through the region late tonight into early Monday morning, bringing the chance for light rain and snow showers. Most of this activity will develop after midnight.
