CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns center Ethan Pocic is likely lost for the season with what’s believed to be a ruptured Achilles suffered during Sunday’s 31-29 loss to the Titans.
Replays showed a distinct pop in the back of his calf before he crumpled to the ground with 14:48 left in the game.
Pocic was carted off and soon ruled out for the game, being replaced by backup center Luke Wypler.
His loss was felt on a two-point attempt after Shedeur Sanders’ 7-yard touchdown run with 4:27 left in the game when Sanders fumbled the snap from Wypler to keep the score at 31-23.
