Police in Waterbury, Connecticut are investigating a smash-and-grab heist in which thieves made off with $10,000 worth of jewelry from a mall kiosk.

Two black-clad, masked men burst into the Banter Jewelry stall in the Brass Mill Center shopping mall at 8:31 p.m. Saturday , according to WFSB-TV. They shattered display cases with a hammer , grabbed their loot and bolted, Waterbury police Sgt. Joseph Morais told Connecticut Insider.

Morais said no one was injured and that police are on the hunt for suspects, but did not provide further details . The store’s posted Saturday closing time is 8 p.m. , and it was not clear whether anyone was there at the time.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Waterbury Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
