COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Sumter County deputies arrested four adults Saturday after a domestic dispute escalated into shots being fired.
According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute Saturday morning at a home on Edgehill Road.
About an hour later, deputies were dispatched again after getting new information that the dispute was continuing. On the way back to the home, deputies learned the incident had become physical and that shots had been fired.
Deputies determined after arriving that the parties involved had allegedly vandalized and fired shots into each other’s unoccupied vehicles.
SCSO confirmed there were no injuries nor other vehicles or structures hit by gunfire.
