Downtown Detroit and office workers have a new national fast-casual eatery dining option.

Sweetgreen, with an array of salad and composed bowl food options opens its downtown location Tuesday on Woodward Avenue.

National fast-casual eatery Sweetgreen’s highly anticipated downtown Detroit location is here.

Sweetgreen, known for its wide selection of healthy salads and bowl foods, will open its doors Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 1020 Woodward Ave., next to Adelina restaurant.

A grand opening celebration starts at 10 a.m. and the first 100 guests in line receive gifts from local chocolatier Bon Bon Bon and Sweetgreen. Also featured is live screen-printing activation from One Custom City and warm beverages from Earthy Botanical Mobile Bar. All of the opening day giveaways are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
