CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A Charlotte woman won $250,000 after buying a holiday lottery ticket at a local Publix.

Christine Dominey reportedly bought her $20 Winter Winfall scratch-off from the Publix on South Tryon Street near West Arrowood Road.

When Dominey claimed her prize at lottery headquarters on Friday, Dec. 5, she took home $179,381 after taxes.

Lottery officials said that one top prize in the game remains unclaimed.
