ENFIELD, HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - On Saturday night around 8:25 p.m., Enfield Police tried to stop a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation in the area of North McDaniel Street and Cary Street.
Police say a chase with lights and sirens ensued after the vehicle failed to stop.
The chase went into the Scotland neck area, reaching speeds of 90 mph with no traffic on the roadway. The suspect, Kinsey Goode, pulled into a residence and surrendered.
Goode showed several physical signs of impairment, according to police. Officials say he was processed and charged with felony flee to elude, DWI, DWLR impaired revocation, reckless driving, failure to heed light or siren, expired registration, expired inspection, and exceeding the posted speed limit.
