A star from Strictly Come Dancing has secured a significant new position following her departure from the BBC contest.

During the current series, La Voix , who broke new ground as the programme's inaugural Drag Queen competitor, was compelled to miss the Blackpool episode and pull out of the remainder of the Strictly s eason due to an injury.

She subsequently posted on Instagram expressing her dismay, stating: "I'm absolutely devastated to be withdrawing from Strictly Come Dancing. This isn't the glittering exit I ever imagined, and it breaks my heart to feel like I'm letting people down. My spirit wanted to keep dancing but my foot has other ideas!
