A special welcome and introduction programme for the newly appointed General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) was held today, 8 December 2025, at the Video Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Sepahijala district. A total of 21 newly recruited GDMOs have been posted across various health institutions in Sepahijala, a development expected to significantly enhance the district’s healthcare services and better meet the medical needs of the public.

The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Debashis Das, Chief Medical Officer of Sepahijala district, Dr. Kanak Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, AGMC & GBP Hospital, Dr. Biprajit Debbarma, Assistant Professor, TMC, and Dr. Ashish Das, district committee member of A.T.G.D.A and CWC.
