LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Laredo community gathered at North Central Park to remember the life of Brianna Aguilera during a vigil held in her memory.

The vigil took place on Sunday, December 7, at 6:30 p.m., drawing attendees who knew Aguilera personally as well as community members who came to show support for her family.

“The community in Laredo is very close; there are a lot of amazing people here,” said Priscilla Santos-Rodriguez, an attendee at the vigil. “You know, and it’s a great thing that people are coming together in remembrance of Brianna, of her life, and it’s great that people are out here, you know, to support her family.”
