LANSING, Mich. (WILX) — Shawn White keeps Christmas alive all year long at her rural Jackson County home office, where decorations dedicated to Mrs. Claus fill shelves and a six-foot tree.

“I love Christmas, my mom loved Christmas... my grandmother,” White said.

White has turned her passion for the holiday into a year-round reality as Mrs. Claus Vintage, complete with a dedicated upstairs bedroom where the transformation takes place.

“Yeah, it’s very magical in here,” White said of her Mrs. Claus room.

The process involves pulling on striped stockings, a custom-made red dress, adding pins and earrings, and selecting the right wig. A ring, glasses, and an apron complete the look. White says what’s on her feet may be most important of all.
