WATERLOO, Iowa — The Salvation Army of Waterloo/Cedar Falls held its annual Mayoral Battle of the Bells on Saturday, bringing in $3,455.43 for the organization's Red Kettle campaign.

Evansdale Mayor Deanne Kobliska and Elk Run Heights Mayor Lisa Smock led the fundraising efforts, collecting $1,866.26. Cedar Falls Mayor Danny Laudick and his council members raised $1,304.15, while the Waterloo Youth City Council, representing Mayor Hart, contributed $285.02 along with three gold coins.

The Salvation Army expressed gratitude for the participation of local leaders and the community's support, which ensures access to essential services.
