More than a month after UAMS was forced to close its six Head Start and Early Head Start centers due to the federal government shutdown, families will once again be able to drop off their children on Tuesday morning. Federal funding for the program has been fully restored, allowing the centers to resume normal operating hours on Dec. 9.
