18-year-old to appear in court in connection to Levi Carter Park murder
The man arrested in a deadly shooting at Levi Carter Park in October will have his preliminary hearing in court Tuesday.
18-year-old Tranell Woodruff appeared in court on Oct. 28 for the charge of first-degree murder and his bond was denied . The charge could get Woodruff up to life in prison if convicted.
The suspect was booked at Douglas County Corrections following the murder of 27-year-old Dequrae Murrel. Murrel was shot on Oct. 5 and she died in the hospital the next day.
