EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State University has been named one of the nation’s top public institutions for graduate employability, according to Times Higher Education .

MSU ranked No. 9 among U.S. public universities and No. 34 nationally overall.

The magazine’s employability ranking evaluates institutions based on several key factors, including work expertise, graduate skills, academic performance, social impact and leadership.

MSU reports a 93 percent job placement rate for its bachelor’s degree recipients, with more than 65 percent of graduates employed within Michigan.
