Everett Milton Phister, age 93, passed away peacefully at home in Hurricane, Utah, on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025. He was born on Sept. 27, 1932, in Oakland, California, to his loving parents, Raymond Emerson and Helen Poulson Phister.

Throughout his long and full life, Everett lived in many places, including Oakland, California; Ft Carson, Colorado; Ogden, North Salt Lake, Salt Lake City and South Jordan, Utah; Deaver, Wyoming; Virgin, St. George, Washington City and Hurricane, Utah. These places became the backdrop to a life rich in family, service, faith and music.

Everett served his country with honor. He joined the United States Air Force, and after four years, continued his military service in the Air National Guard, from which he retired. In the military,
