Landline phones have been a household and pop culture staple for generations, but just like pagers, VHS and DVDs, they are increasingly becoming a thing of the past. Now in a sign of changing times, AT&T says that by 2029 it’ll end copper-wire landline service throughout most of the United States. NBC’s Tom Costello reports for TODAY.
