HOLLYWOOD—Yes, I guess we can say Awards Season is officially upon us because on Monday, December 8, the nominees for the 2026 Golden Globes were revealed by actor Marlon Wayans and actress Skye P. Marshall.

So who made the cut and who was snubbed? There are indeed a few nominees that had me scratching my head, but I remember the Golden Globes is all about star power, not necessarily if the movie or performances are strong. Also NEWS FLASH, we don’t care about podcasts. Podcasts and movies FYI are 2 different things, so why in the hell is that category even a thing?

With that said “One Battle After Another” lead the film side of things with a total of 9 nominations including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, while “The White Lotus” led the charge on the TV side with 6 nominations.
