A has launched a campaign to save a from being ‘lost forever’.

The people of Brydekirk near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway are raising funds to reopen the Brig Inn, which has been closed since 2020.

Developers purchased the property several years later.

However, amid staunch opposition from the community, the local authority rejected their plans for the site.

Now, with the Scottish Land Fund committed to funding 95% of a site valuation, community members are committed to restoring the pub to its former glory.
