BEMIDJI — Great River Rescue is offering pet adoptions for 50% off now through Saturday, Dec. 20, as part of its "Home for the Howlidays" initiative.

"Let's spread extra holiday cheer this season by getting all of our pets into their forever homes," a release said.

To schedule an adoption appointment, fill out an application at greatriverrescue.com. A list of adoptable dogs and cats can also be viewed on the website.
