We’re in peak White Elephant party season — especially if your office hosts one as part of your holiday festivities — and you probably need to cross that shopping errand off your list. If you’re not up on the rules, a White Elephant party asks everyone to bring a wrapped gift that costs up to a certain, pre-decided amount. Everyone picks a number, and the first person chooses one of the gifts and unwraps it. The second person can either choose to steal that unwrapped gift, or pick one to unwrap themselves. And so on.
