PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – A woman from Mingo County, West Virginia, faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, after investigators said another woman suffered cuts and burns in Eastern Kentucky.
The incident was reported Saturday in the Freeburn community of Pike County, Kentucky State Police troopers said.
Angel Hunt, 28, of Wharncliffe, West Virginia, also is charged with first-degree assault, first-degree strangulation and first-degree arson.
Troopers said the victim’s home along Chestnut Branch had been on fire. The victim’s condition was not included in the KSP release.
Hunt was taken to the Pike County Detention Center.
