ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Family and friends gathered Tuesday to mark the two-year anniversary of David Harmon’s shooting death, releasing balloons at Lemay Park as his case remains unsolved.
“Everyday, it gets harder and harder,” said Michele Jacobson, Harmon’s mother, describing the last two years searching for answers. “Not knowing why my son was shot, not knowing who shot him [is hard].”
St. Louis Metropolitan Police said Harmon was found dead in his car at California and Osage in Dutchtown on December 9, 2023. Police said they were initially called for an accident with injuries when they found Harmon.
Loved ones released balloons filled with light Tuesday, a symbol they hope will guide them to answers in his case.
