MARINERS HARBOR, Staten Island (WABC) -- Two were treated for "smoke inhalation and exhaustion" after a 3-alarm fire erupted in the Mariners Harbor section of Staten Island early Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and the homeowner was treated at the scene by EMS workers.

FDNY responded to reports of a fire at Grandview Avenue and Arlington Place and discovered a "truck on fire directly leaning on the house, with heavy fire in the first floor, basement and attic of the occupancy," according to FDNY Deputy Assistant Chief Dave Simms.
