The Met Office issued an amber weather warning for 'danger to life' in the north-west of Scotland yesterday, Tuesday, December 9, as strong winds of up to 90mph were predicted.

‌Yellow warnings were in place across the rest of the country for wind and rain during the second named storm of the season.
