PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Dry and mild weather is expected to continue for the Valley and state for the second half of this week and into the weekend.

Look for clear skies today in the Valley, with morning temperatures in the 40s warming to the upper 70s by this afternoon. Light winds are expected.

High pressure building off over the Pacific will continue to keep afternoon temperatures 10 to 20 degrees above normal in Arizona through the weekend and into the start of next week. The ridge will also keep conditions dry for our state, with no rain or snow expected for at least the next week.

A dry trough of low pressure will swing by to our north over the weekend, slightly lowering temperatures for the start of next week. Look for upper 70s just about every afternoon in the Valley for today th
