Alabama’s offense has been struggling of late. Discounting an FCS blowout over Eastern Illinois, the unit has been off since the Crimson Tide limped to victory over South Carolina.

The issues came to a head Saturday, when UA lost 28-7 against Georgia in the SEC championship game. Next up, one of the top defenses in the league, when Alabama visits an Oklahoma team that beat it in Tuscaloosa earlier this season.

As that game, scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on Dec. 19, approaches, here are three Alabama players who must be the engine powering an offensive resurgence.

Ty Simpson

This one is obvious. If Alabama is going to get past the Sooners this time around, its quarterback is going to need to play far better than he has in recent games.
