Mumbai: Domestic dairy brand Amul on Wednesday said it has extended its partnership with the FIFA World Champions, the Argentina Football Association, as the Official Regional Sponsor for one more season.

According to Amul, this marks the fourth year of the partnership. AFA confirmed Amul's alliance with the Argentina team for the World Cup 2026 period, the company said in a statement.

Why is this partnership significant?

Amul is the first Indian regional sponsor in the history of Argentine football since 2022.
