The Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday said that political parties that have appointed booth-level agents will be provided with a list of dead, shifted, and absent voters before the draft of the voter list is published.

This arrangement is for the 12 states and Union Territories where Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is underway. The draft voter lists will be published on December 16 in nine states and three Union Territories.

Process was also adopted in Bihar

The Election Commission said that the Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) of these 12 states and Union Territories have been instructed to share the list of absent, shifted, dead, or duplicate voters at the booth level with Booth Level Agents (BLAs).
