GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Sheriff’s office said a large bust has been made in an ongoing investigation involving the distribution of illegal marijuana products.
Officials said the investigation was launched due to complaints of high school aged children using similar products.
According to the sheriff’s office, the county’s multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit executed two search warrants on Tuesday at Panthers Distribution on Woodruff Road and V-Go on Park Woodruff Drive. Over 1,850 pounds of marijuana and $530,000 was seized.
Deputies said they are continuing to comb through evidence and criminal charges are possible against a number of individuals.
The sheriff’s office said this was a combined effort with the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office
