Three men have been indicted in a July attempted robbery in Kent that turned into a pursuit while shots were fired.
Two Dayton man and a Cleveland teenager were arrested in the July 5 incident in which Jaydyn Douglas Akers, 17, and a 19-year-old man arranged through social media to meet with Javen Terrel House Jr., 23, Naimon A. Ewing, 21, and a third individual to purchase jewelry in the Bowman Drive area.
Kent police said there were no injuries in the incident, but shots were fired in a residential area.
Instead it turned into an alleged robbery, with House, Ewing and the third person fleeing in a vehicle with Akers and the older teen pursuing while Akers and House exchanged shots along Morris Road.
House and Ewing's escaped, but House was later taken into custody by the Ohio State
