DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa State Fair is already counting down to August by revealing two of its biggest Grandstand acts — country star Lainey Wilson and rock artist Rod Stewart.

This will be Wilson’s first time performing at the Iowa State Fair.

She recently won big at the 2025 Country Music Awards with Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (“Whirlwind”) and Female Vocalist of the Year.

She is nominated for three awards at the 68th Grammy Awards: Best Country Song (“Somewhere Over Laredo”), Best Country Solo Performance (“Somewhere Over Laredo”) and Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Trailblazer” with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert).

Wilson will take the stage on August 16, performing with special guest Tigirlily Gold.
