A federal judge has blocked President Donald Trump’s deployment of the National Guard in Los Angeles, the latest development in the ongoing battle between Gov. Gavin Newsom — who has long denounced Trump’s federalization of the troops — and the president.
USA TODAY reported the latest development on Wednesday, Dec. 10. A federal judge also ordered Newsom be given back control of the guardsmen, according to USA TODAY.
