Police are searching for witnesses after a violent razor incident unfolded at a bus drop-off area in Middletown, the Lower Swatara Township Police Department announced on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
The aggravated assault happened on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 4, at 2110 North Union Street on UPS property used as a bus pick-up and drop-off location in Middletown, according to police.
The confrontation involved two individuals and a razor, investigators explained. The case remains open, and details are limited because the victim has not cooperated with authorities. Chief Thomas Bell told CBS 21 that the department does not “have a cooperative victim that will come forward,” making it difficult to determine the extent of any injuries, according to the outlet.
“We are just trying to get some additional information from some witnesses that observed it occur,” Bell said. Police added they have only “a snippet of a video and some blood on the ground,” according to the department.
Lower Swatara Township Police are seeking additional cell phone footage and firsthand witnesses. Tips can be submitted through the Dauphin County Non-Emergency Line at 717-558-6900 or on the department’s Crimewatch page, according to the release.
The incident is listed under Reference ID 25-0021196 and remains an active criminal case.
