On the morning of Tuesday, Dec 9, volunteers Kelly Pianka and Steve Dondero began the process of moving the contents of the East Bay Food Pantry’s Thrift Shop to Metacom Avenue, in the former Benny’s Plaza.

The shop is temporarily relocating to leave more space for the Food Pantry’s operations while their Wood Street home undergoes a major renovation this winter.

The thrift shop's last day open on Wood Street will be Dec 15, and they will remain closed to shoppers until January 31, though they will be accepting donations at the Metacom Avenue location beginning January 3.

The food pantry will remain at the Wood Street location and keep its same hours throughout the renovation.
