PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s a warm week for the month of December! How close will we get to record highs this week? We’ll be in the upper 70s through the start of the weekend, then should top out at 80 degrees Sunday evening. If we get there, that will break our previous record of 78 degrees.

Pretty much, high temperatures for the next five days will be right around or at records. And statewide, we’re continuing to see temperatures 10-20 degrees above normal! Can you believe areas like Flagstaff are seeing temperatures trending 20 degrees above normal? On Tuesday, they topped out at 64 degrees, when the average there is 44 degrees!
