BUFFALO, N.Y. — Once again the national debate over healthcare funding is back before Congress with a possible key vote Thursday if Senate Democrats can push it forward.

Once again, the issue of a Democratic push to extend taxpayer subsidies for health care insurance could be before the U.S. Senate on Thursday. And once again, partisan battle-lines have been drawn just like we saw with the federal government shutdown back in October and part of November.

So now here in December, the 47 Democratic Senators — according to their Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York — say they will try to force a vote on their plan to again extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits for three years.
