KELLER, Texas — A member of the Keller ISD Board of Trustees is resigning and has announced plans to run for Keller City Council.
In a Facebook post , Dr. Charles Randklev cited a desire to continue serving the community following the departure of Mayor Armin Mizani to the Texas Legislature.
“After much prayer, reflection, and encouragement from friends and neighbors, I’ve decided to continue serving in a new way,” the announcement said.
Randklev emphasized long-standing ties to the community, referencing involvement in a local church, children’s activities and schools, and a family business based in Keller. He's been on the KISD Board of Trustees since May of 2021.
